We recently visited Cologne Germany, we visited their Christmas Market, the Cologne Dome Cathedral and saw downtown and the train station. 

The Dome Cathedral was huge!  It is 144.5 meters (474 ft) long, 86.5 m (284 ft) wide and its towers are approximately 157 m (515 ft) tall.  This was also listed as the burial place of the 3 kings from traditional bible passages. More information about the Cathedral click here.

We also traveled to Amsterdam a few weeks ago and saw much of the city. It had lots of small streets along the canals, a interesting red light district and some cool nightlife. We have some pictures of the statues we saw. The most memorable one was "The Night Watch".
